MOISTURIZING THE SKIN
The final step in your skin care regimen is moisturizing. A good moisturizer should hydrate the skin without the use of chemicals, synthetic ingredients or waxes which ultimately clog the pores and actually suffocate your skin.
This is how the skin detoxifies itself, so putting a moisturizer with mineral oil or other chemicals prevents it from breathing and sweating. Your skin is the largest organ of your body, and as the body eliminates toxins through the skin, it is vital the skin be free to release toxins. When this process is obstructed, toxins accumulate, which can promote acne and other disorders. It also slows down skin function and normal cell development, resulting in premature ageing of the skin.
The moisturizers I have chosen are packed with active ingredients from nature which feed the skin, allowing it to rejuvenate itself naturally.
HOW TO MOISTURIZE YOUR SKIN
Apply a thin layer of appropriate skin type moisturizer over your entire face and neck area after cleansing and toning the skin. Apply using a light upward motion until absorbed into skin. Use a small amount of eye cream if desired around eye area. Wait several minutes before applying makeup.
